Stairboard for Stairs

Although stairs that are bound by walls on either side are much easier to install than stairs with exposed edges, they are still the most difficult part of a home. Often, it takes installers an equal amount of time to install one flight of stairs as a few rooms of flooring put together.

One of our best friends in stairs installation is our Tap&Go stairboard. Compared to regular stairnoses, these are bigger--more stable, sports locks--easier install, and equal height as our flooring--flush connection.

Here's a comparison between the two:

We just finished a stairs project last Friday in Cottonwood Heights, UT. Here is XSM-88 Acacia Queen on stairs with stairboard nosing:

Since our stairboards match the color of our laminate flooring 100%, we don't have to go through the headache of staining and trying to match the color to the rest of the house. We love the natural look of the Tap&Go stairboards!
